Searching for the best resorts in Turks and Caicos? Well here I will be presenting the top 10 best resorts in Turks and Caicos.
The Turks and Caicos islands may not be as famous as some of the more popular Caribbean vacation destinations such as Jamaica or the Virgin Islands. The Turks and Caicos are a sparsely populated archipelago located just south of the Bahamas and north of the Dominican Republic. Most of the population is centered on the island of Providenciales which has a town by the same name.
Grace Bay is located on the north shore and was recently named the best beach vacation destination in the world by Trip Advisor. Grace Bay has a spectacular beach of powdery white sand and crystal clear blue water. The town of Providenciales is a quiet town with not much to see or do and shuts down early in the evenings. This is a destination for those wanting a quiet, tranquil holiday and don't need nightlife or a lot of activities to keep entertained.
The drawback of resorts on Grace bay is that they are mostly set back behind some sand dunes so unless your room is on the upper floor you won't likely get a good view of the ocean. Also, unlike some beach resorts where you are just stepping out your patio door to the water, the resorts tend to extend away from the beach, so you won't likely have that right on the water feel.
I have examined and sorted the reviews from several sources, and I have combined them to produce this top 10 list of the best resorts in the Turks and Caicos Islands. By combining the results of multiple review sources this list will be fairly accurate in giving you a good top 10 list. I am including the current rates for a room for 2 per night in US Dollars as of March 18, 2012.
Here they are...
1. Amanyara - $1450
2. Parrot Cay - $914
3. Gansevoort Turks and Caicos - $650
4. The Tuscany - $800
5. West Bay Club - $344
6. Villa Renaissance - $382
7. Windsong Resort - $285
8. Regent Palms - $586
9. The Somerset on Grace Bay - $541

There you have the best of the best that Turks and Caicos has to offer. Amanyara is most likely the most expensive resort in the entire Caribbean and their smallest room is a 3 bedroom villa. Parrot Cay is a resort for those want to really relax and get away. As an option, they have villas and individual beach houses you can rent with full butler service.
I have also ranked the top 10 all inclusive resorts in the Bahamas and I've ranked the top 10 resort hotels on St. Thomas, USVI and the top 5 all inclusive hotels in St. Martin/St. Maarten.
