Sandals Halcyon Beach resort in St. Lucia is the 7th rated resort based on my rankings of the 13 Sandals resorts. So Sandals Halcyon is right smack dab in the middle of the pack, not one of the top rated Sandals hotels and not one of the lowest rated.
St. Lucia is a beautiful Caribbean island of the Lesser Antilles on the southeast corner of the Caribbean Sea. Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort is one of 3 Sandals resorts on the island of Saint Lucia, the others being the Regency La Toc and the Grande St. Lucian. A great idea Sandals had in opening up all the amenities of each of their resorts to guests of other Sandals resorts. As I mentioned they offer a Dine Around program where you can eat at any of the 21 restaurants among the 3 St. Lucia Sandals properties. They also have a Stay at 1 Play At 3 program where you can avail yourself of the incredible number of activities that Sandals is famous for at each of the 3 resorts.
This means you can enjoy 11 pools, 11 whirlpools and 23 bars. 23 bars at 3 resorts? Do you get the feeling that drinking is a big part of staying at Sandals?
There is of course a myriad of activities to do including kayaking, sailing, wind surfing, snorkeling, water skiing, volleyball, squash and shuffleboard. In the evenings there's live shows, live bands, karaoke bars and piano bars.
